How I handle your data.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

Who I am

This website is run by Irina Toma, trading as Digitalholic, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 72774932, VAT number NL002463142B78. I am responsible for the personal data collected through digitalholic.org. You can reach me at irina.toma@digitalholic.org.

What I collect and why

When you send a message. The contact form asks for your name, email address and your message. I use this only to reply to you and, if we decide to work together, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or my legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.

When you email me directly. I keep your email and my reply in my mailbox for the same purposes.

When you visit the site. The website platform records basic visit statistics, such as pages viewed, approximate location by country and the type of device and browser. These statistics are anonymised and used only to understand which pages are useful.

I do not sell your data, use it for advertising or add you to a mailing list without your explicit consent.

Cookies

The site uses cookies set by Squarespace, the platform it runs on. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site secure and working. Analytics cookies are only used for anonymous visit statistics as described above. No advertising or social media tracking cookies are used. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Who processes your data

The website and contact form are hosted by Squarespace, Inc., which processes data on my behalf. Squarespace may store data outside the European Economic Area, in which case it relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. My email is hosted by Google Workspace under similar safeguards.

How long I keep it

Messages from people who do not become clients are deleted within two years of our last contact. Client correspondence and invoices are kept for seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal data I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Email me and I will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with my answer, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Changes

If I change how I handle personal data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
